Why FORT?

We chose the most complex and heavily regulated industry in which to build our platform. Shippers of beverage alcohol products must be able to manage a range of distinctions, calculations and reports (e.g., tax paid vs in-bond product, label registration requirements which vary by state, direct shipping permits and volume restriction filters, excise and local sales tax calculations, etc.). As a result, FORT can seamlessly handle management of products in various regulated environments, with any number of rules and compliance filters.
Unlike other systems that rely largely on a patchwork of integrations and API calls with other systems, FORT has everything you need under one roof. From taking the order, charging the customer, preparing the package, generating the courier label, monitoring the package life cycle, and communicating with your customer, you can manage your business with a single system.
We have been working on better solutions for the wine industry since 1999. We pioneered the direct-to-consumer 3-tier clearing business, and are leading the way with our business-to-business solutions as well.
